Synthetic Rubber

Synthetic rubber encompasses a wide range of rubber-like materials, such as SBR (Styrene Butadiene Rubber), NBR (Nitrile Rubber), and EPDM (Ethylene Propylene Diene Monomer). These materials are engineered to mimic natural rubber's properties while offering specific advantages. Synthetic rubber is used in diverse industries, including automotive, construction, and healthcare, where resistance to oil, chemicals, or extreme temperatures is required.

1. Styrene-Butadiene Rubber (SBR):

Properties: SBR is known for its excellent abrasion resistance and good aging properties. It has a balance of physical properties and is commonly used for tire treads, conveyor belts, gaskets, and footwear.

Applications: SBR is widely used in the automotive industry for tire production and in various industrial applications.

Available Grades/Products: 1500, 1502, 1712

2. Ethylene-Propylene-Diene Monomer (EPDM):

Properties: EPDM is highly resistant to heat, ozone, weather, and chemicals. It has excellent electrical insulating properties and good low-temperature flexibility.

Applications: EPDM is commonly used for automotive weatherstripping, roofing materials, electrical insulation, and seals in various outdoor applications.

Available Grades/Products: OIL EXTENDED, NON OIL, LOW MOONEY, MEDIUM MOONEY, HIGH MOONEY, SPONGE GRADE etc...

3. Nitrile Rubber (NBR):

Properties: NBR is oil-resistant and has good fuel and chemical resistance. It is known for its excellent mechanical properties, making it ideal for applications that require sealing and gasket materials.

Applications: NBR is commonly used for O-rings, gaskets, oil seals, and fuel hoses in the automotive, industrial, and oil and gas industries.
